Backlinks from Special Offers – Where Are They?
Many of you have been part of our special offers – when you are getting 2 times more backlinks for the articles you submit to Free Traffic System.
We have got several emails from our users recently where they ask about how they can track backlinks from special offers, because they are NOT shown on FTS stats page of the members area.
Very important issue!
And thanks for bringing up this topic, because we missed this issue and owe you an explanation.
On FTS stats page you can see statistical info about the backlinks which are built ONLY inside Free Traffic System. But, during special offers (and we mentioned that) we are building you additional/extra backlinks OUTSIDE Free Traffic System.
This gives you maximum DIVERSITY of backlinks = maximum SEO SAFETY.
As these blogs are outside, we cannot give you detailed stats on the number of backlinks built outside. That is why, any time you are checking FTS stats page, remember that this page is showing just the regular backlinks built inside FTS, special offers’ backlinks are not reported here.
So, in reality – thanks to FTS team work – you have:
- backlinks built inside FTS (you can check them in the stats page of your members area)
- backlinks outside FTS (built by our team for you as part of special offers – not trackable on stats page)
Ok, How Can I See ALL Backlinks?
There is a solution. The vast majority of FTS members are using building backlinks for their blogs. Inside WordPress admin area of your blog you can go to – > Comments and see all backlinks.
This becomes possible thanks to WordPress using a trackback feature.
Trackback (in simple words) – when another WP blog makes a post and gives you a backlink, this blog sends you special technical notification – it shows on what page exactly they gave you a backlink. These technical notification messages (trackbacks) are stored inside Comments section of your WP blog admin area. You can see on what page the backlink was published and go to this page to see how your post looks there.
So, login to WP admin area of your blog to which you are building backlinks, go to Comments section and you will see that you have a lot more backlinks (sometimes 2 or 3 times more) than you have reported inside FTS stats page.
This will help you to really see the real powerful of your backlink growth with Free Traffic System.

I have gone to my admin area of my word press blog and clicking on comments, unfortunately I do not see any backlinks, I am wondering if I am looking in the right location.

I would like to know should I edit any comments on my blog with word press or just approve them. There is a space that asks for a url and I dont know what this means. Also where how do I put a feed on my press blog so it will feed into othere sites.
I hope you can help you seem to know so much about the back links idea which seems to work
thanks

Thanks for the info.
I didn’t know that and I have been using wordpress for a few months now. I guess I’m a slow learner.
I really like learning though I learn better though with help from others then discovering things on my own.
I also like helping others learn especially when it comes to doing things around the house. On my blog http://homerenewall that is what I try to do.
Thanks again

Hi Dim,
Just a question, as usual.
Is there a difference between square brackets [ ] and parenthesis ( ) ?

Answer to Filomena J Serraino
I have checked your site to which you are building backlinks. The site is does not look like a WP blog.
Trackbacks are for ONLY for WordPress blogs AND (this is important)…
…for the pages that are part of WP blog. Let me explain this issue. Let’s say you have a site (built not on a WP blog engine) and you have WP blog installed on subdomain of this site.
Then for all pages which are part of the blog WP admin area will show you backlinks. But if you are building backlinks to the home page and home page is not part of the WP blog – no trackbacks.
WP blog ‘sees’ trackbacks only for its own pages, the pages built on WP engine.

You haven’t built a single backlink inside Free Traffic System
You need to submit articles, this is how all others are building backlinks inside Free Traffic System. I checked your account – not a single article submitted.
That is why it is absolutely ok that you see ‘nada’.

Mike, if you are talking about [] for spinning, the YES – there is a difference.
Spinning with [ ] will work
Spinning with ( ) will not work

Answer to Noma about commend approving
Great question!!
Noma, it is up to you; but in terms of SEO it is not wise to approve these SEO-type trackback comments, because this comment will be published on YOUR page with backlink to THEIR site.
So, in terms of SEO you would give away a backlink – this is not wise. You are trying so hard to build backlinks for this page and now you are giving away your SEO power for free!
We are getting lots of trackback comments daily to Free Traffic System blog, and we simply delete them (plus we also delete spam comments).
We are leaving only the comments of Free Traffic System users who are either asking questions or share their feedback about our service.
So, we leave just the comments with real info. Trackbacks are nothing but a notification and it is not wise in terms of SEO to publish these trackback comments.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that the system is working well for me! I decided to test the system in early January. I published 2 articles for a health related adsense site that was several months old with no previous traffic (a total of 30 postings and 3-4 keywords). After only a few days, I started seeing search traffic and am now averaging about 40-50 impressions and a few clicks a day. I’m ranking #1 for 3 different targeted keywords and my site is being found through other long tail keywords where I’m ranking as well. Just follow the instructions, choose correctly targeted keywords, and keep posting articles!

I recently added my first article which seemed to be accepted after a few teething probs! When I look at it now, there is a message which says “bad login/password combination”.
Could you please tell me what has happened-as far as I know I used the correct details when both submitting and logging in to check.
Many thanks
Carole

Answer to Carole
On the STATS page we give our clients a fair stats to the “destiny” of each single post that you made.
What you saw was Free Traffic System reporting you ‘When we tried to publish your article on of the blogs that you have chosen to republish the article, the login and password to this blog (indicated by its owner during registration) failed – hence, this very post was not published.’
That could be a temporary problem with a blog, but if we see that with one and the same blog this issue happens too often, then the owner of the blog is contacted to fix the issue, or the blog is deleted from the network.
But that was just about one republication of the article, it surely does not mean that other republication of the article will have the same issues, as these are different blogs.

I submitted the article and is accepted. And the stat page shows the blog name, category, title, etc. But there is no link. How do I find that blog? I just wanted to see where it landed!
Thanks.

Please read the second part of the post to which you published a comment. The section is called “Ok, How Can I See ALL Backlinks?” – it will give you an insight about how to see the actual URL where the post “landed”

I am getting INCREDIBLE traffic on my Blog thanks to you!! The backlinks are great and people are bookmarking it. Thanks you for that!! Now submitting articles is another thing. WOW-I am going to keep trying if it kills me. I think I submitted one, but nothing ever shows as my stats…so I’ll keep trying.
