Actually I don’t have “Placement problems” with my websites/business, but free good information are always good.

I’m just wondering after reading this pdf, if it’s dangerous to use many of the popular tools that are available today?

My personal opinion is that it’s about HOW you use them and if you can control HOW you use them.

For example, even automatic forum profile signatures can do a great job if you do them very slowly (1-5 links per day).

But who gonna play with that small packages? For SEO providers this is not interesting, because if they sell hundreds and thousands of forum signature links for $10, then for how much will they sell the package of 50 links – for a dollar?

This is where the profit margin starts playing over the care for the client.

Use all tools that you want and can. But use them naturally, wisely. If these tools can be used only aggressively – then better leave the tools aside.

p.s. We live in the economy when we need to plan what we invest into. When you invest into SEO, invest into quality – not in “fast results” or “massive numbers”. One publication and backlink from reputable site with search engine traffic is worth a lot more than hundreds of junky backlinks.

Thanks people for this wonderful piece of information. As always, Google does not disclose its algorithm and why should they in Panda’s case? I have to thank those people who have been watching closely how the trend is going and who have been doing testing.

I have a website that was ranking between #1 and #4 for a keyword on Google but it suddenly went to #21 and has been sitting there for almost a month. I built back links and back links but it did not move. Then I decided to change things a little bit, (I did some of what you just wrote) after just 2 days, I noticed the site climbed to number 18 which is promising. Today I checked again and it was number 9.

I just get lost in SEO somedays, Thanks for all your great work
