Up and downs in Google can happen for many reasons, the videos explains this pretty well. It is very unlikely that your site will be banned from Google unless you do something really dodgy.

I see why I have had this happen.

You work hard to get enough links to get to Google page one.stay there for a day or two then bang disappear.

Then you get back on page one after a few days.It makes sense when you see this explanation.
