Step by Step Guide to
Using Traffic Banners

Step 1. Login to Free Traffic System Dashboard

Login to Free Traffic System members area like shown on the screenshot below…

After you login, you are automatically sent to the Dashboard with our traffic building, SEO and money making tools.

You click the new tool – Traffic Banners.

Step 2. Add Your Traffic Banners

Each time you want to add new traffic banners, you click the button shown below…

This starts a new traffic banner campaign for you, and you can do the search.

(You can also use your previously uploaded banners – so that you don’t need to upload one and the same banner all the time you will see more about this feature in one of the next steps of this guide.)

Step 3. Name Your Campain, Do the Search, Claim a Page

You give a name to your traffic banner campaign (this name will be reported in the View Traffic Banners section) and put the keywords for searching targeted web pages with traffic.

You can use several keyword and search like this “keyword 1|keyword 2|keyword 3” to show you more results.

Click “Search” to see available pages with traffic in your niche.

You will see a list of available traffic pages and the stats for each of the page. Stats are updated every month.

If you click on “Viewed” like shown on the screenshot, the table will show the pages with highest traffic, so that you choose what brings the best traffic right now.

You put the checkbox to the page you like. And click “Claim Page and Add Your Banner” button.

Step 4. Upload Your Banner

Final step – you upload your banner file and details:

- URL of your banner landing page (it can be your site, or blog, or affiliate link);
- anchor text of the link will be ALT text – keyword inside the picture for better SEO of your banners;
- upload the file with banner (currently we give you big horizontal banner ad space 728×90 that will be shown of the page you claimed, big, wide, visible banner – in the future we will use your recommendations for additional banner spaces and sizes).

You can upload the new banner each time, or you can use of the previously uploaded banners, if they fit to the topic of the claimed page.

Step 5. OUR Step – Moderation.

We will review each banner to make sure web pages are not spammed with banners that have nothing to do with the topic of the web page selected.

Step 2. Claim a Page with Traffic

Inside Traffic Pages module you can claim pages with traffic.

By claiming a certain web page you kind of “lease” the unique right to create content for this page and publish it. Good quality content with 1 one-way link to any site (in the topic of the claimed page) and any product (also in the topic of the claimed page).

To find the page with targeted traffic and claim it, please click this picture inside “Traffic Pages” module of FTS members area.

This will send you to the search form – where you give the name to the page claiming campaign (SEO on my example), you choose the sites for search from the drop down menu (currently we are giving traffic from the pages of FreeTrafficSystem.com and Filorama.com), and submit keywords into the search. You can submit more than one keyword for the search, like seo|search engine optimization on the screenshot here…

I click Search button and get the list of available pages with traffic stats that are relevant to the keywords submitted into search form.

You see the real traffic stats that are taken from the hosting accounts of these sites. The traffic stats of the pages that you plan to claim.

You choose one page, tick the check box next to it, scroll the page down and click “Claim Traffic Page” like shown below.

Step 3. Add Content, One Way Link
and Affiliate Product on Traffic Page

Now we come to the heart of “Traffic Pages” module. We share traffic from these pages with you by allowing you to place a unit of text with graphics and even affiliate links or banners.

You do it via WYSIWYG editor, or in plain HTML – and on the screenshot below you can see how I added text about SEO (because my claimed page is about SEO). Then I put a clickbank affiliate product banner in the left upper part of my text. And I also put a simple one way link to a ‘video marketing seo’ web page, full featured do-follow one way link. All this shown on the screenshot below.

You can Save the information you are working with and continue editing it. You can Preview how the page will look in real life.

You can switch between the visual Design and HTML looks of the editor.

Once you are ready with the information, click Submit and your traffic page goes to our moderation.

IMPORTANT RULES FOR
CONTENT AND AFFILIATE PRODUCT SUBMISSIONS
ON TRAFFIC PAGES INSIDE FreeTrafficSystem.com

RULE #1: Once you claim the page, you have 72 hours to submit your final version of content for this page. You officially submit content to moderation only after clicking Submit button (Save is just for saving, it’s not an official submission). If you do not officially submit information within 72 hours, the traffic page becomes available/open to all other users of “Traffic Pages” module. This is done to prevent traffic page squatting.

RULE #2: The content that you submit must be 100% unique and nicely written. We will approve only high quality information on the web pages that are already getting targeted real visitors.

RULE #3: Content must be up to the point with the topic of the page you claimed. If this is ‘fitness workouts’ – then your content must be about fitness workouts, not about weight loss or dieting in general. Give the visitors of claimed pages great info, and you will see them coming to your sites and clicking your affiliate links.

RULE #4: You are allowed 1 one way anchor text rich link per one claimed traffic page. The link topic must be relevant to the topic of the claimed page. If you want to get Forex traffic to your sites, then claim Forex related traffic pages.

RULE #5: The affiliate banners or links that you insert into the claimed page must be representing the products that have direct relation to the topic of the claimed page.

Switching the blog(s) to version 2 becomes very important for the following reasons:

(1) Automatic promotion of content units

Unlike version 1, in version 2 the units of content which are being published on your blogs work as “automatic self promotional” units. In V2 content submitters can ping and tweet their publications via FTS Indexer, and this creates extra backlinks and better visibility for every unit of content published via version 2.

(2) Possibility to make $$$ from publications

If your blog has reputation, PR and traffic – in version 2 you can set your own price for publishing the content sent by our submitters to your blog.

If your blog hasn’t got reputation, PR and traffic – no problems. Make the publications free for a while, let your blog “mature” with the content (and FTS Indexer will increase the visibility of your content) and then you will reach the stage when you can charge money for the publications.

Let me start from thanking everybody for joining the discussion about version 2. Your feedback in blog comments and questions to our support team is truly golden, because we can see what is the most important for you and we can tune up Free Traffic System version 2 to your needs.

And this feedback helped us to see that one of the most interesting/important issues for you is something like this “Does it mean we will no longer be able to publish content on PR blogs for free?”

Absolutely logical and vital question. And to answer it let me start from making another market prediction…

We are at the end of era
when guest posting
on reputable blogs was FREE

As mentioned in previous blog posts FTS team guessed the general trend about Google algorithm changes previous autumn. We are ready to put our SEO reputation at a stake and make another prediction (and you will be able to check the validity of this prediction in 6-12 months) – we really believe that the changes on the market will push reputable sites to stop blatant “guest posting” of content on their pages.

(Side note: guest posting means that a 3rd party is allowed to submit his/her content (usually articles, but not only) on the pages of other sites)

There are 2 reasons for reputable blogs
to make this decision…

Reason #1. It’s not 2008!

In 2008 the offer of “get content for your blogs for FREE!” was amazing and very attractive. Wow, I can do nothing and will get content to my blogs! No longer I need to harvest content from RSS feeds! I don’t need to buy all that scripts that publish it. Other people will line up to make publications on my blogs. I am in!!

But it’s not 2008 today. Blog owners are sick and tired of LOADS of articles hammering at their blogs. If these blogs are low quality, then their owners simply don’t care. But if your blog has at least some decent PR, then as the owner of the blog you start to understand that your blog and its reputation has some value.

VALUE is the key notion here. Please keep in mind for a while, we will get back to it.

Reason #2. Recent changes of Google algo (algorithm).

With its latest algo changes Google has evidently shown to the rest of the world that their fight for value and reputation is not “just another propaganda trick.” Of course, these changes are not THAT dramatic as propaganda is positioning them in the minds of fearful audience. Of course, backlinks from inside nice units of content will do their magic even on absolutely junk blogs.

Still, Google will keep fighting against blatant content spamming for backlinks and – who knows – maybe, some day they will succeed.

Any way, the SEO value of unique, exclusive publications on reputable sites has increased like never before. And even the most “unsophisticated” owners of good blogs will understand it sooner or later. Once again we get back to the notion of VALUE. Blog owners will want some value in return for their value.

Content is No Longer
a Fair “Replacement” for Their Value!

We are not alone who will try to give you access to the publications on reputable sites. And there are 2 ways to handle this problem.

Strategy #1 – You “pay in bulk” and can do as many posts as you wish.

In terms of technology it is the easiest system. We could switch FTS in a week to it. Within the framework of this strategy users pay a monthly fee of let’s say $50-$70 and get access to blogs with PR and can submit unlimited publications.

On the surface it looks like an ideal decision. But only on the surface.

First of all, with this approach these blogs will get savagely overspammed with content very quickly. Especially now, after the Google algo changes that opened the eyes of submitters on the value of PR blogs. So, very soon the flood of content will come to these blogs.

Moreover, blog owners get ONLY content, they don’t get any money. And in FTS V2 they will get CONTENT + $$$. Put yourself into the shoes of the blog owner and think what system they will choose with their blogs

That is why the systems which will try to give you “bulk access” will eventually face the problem of big blog leakage and will have to buy dropped domains, many of these dropped domains will have fake PRs – this is a dead end in terms of SEO.

Strategy #2 – Micropayments for every approved publication.

This strategy is completely different. You do a micropayment for every approved publication. And blog owner gets money from this micropayment after approving your content.

The prices will be different, they will depend upon the PR of the blogs, upon how many publications they approve per day, upon the size of traffic on these blogs – you will be able to see all this when choosing the blogs for your publications and choose the blogs that fit your requirements best of all.

First of all, this concept of “content + money” attracts serious blog owners with good blogs (and not only blogs!) to FTS V2. And the network with a wider choice of good blogs is a better attraction for content submitters.

Secondly, submitters who pay will address the quality of their content more seriously. I mean one needs to be a complete idiot to create spammy low-quality unreadable article and hope that this content will ever get published on a good blog. When you pay for something (even if it’s a tiny micropayment), you become more serious.

And one more factor, with micropayments you are flexible. If you can afford to spend just $5 right now – it’s ok, you can do that! Why being slaved to monthly payments of $50-$70/month if this is not what you need at the moment?! Maybe you need just 2-3 publications this month!

This is beauty of flexibility with micropayments – you choose what you need. People with cents and people with hundreds of dollars will have adequate choices for their budgets.

And now comes a special trick
how you can do micropayments
and get publications on PR blogs
without paying a single cent!!

In Free Traffic System version 2 we will be rewarding affiliates with credit points, both for the blogs that they have referred into the system and for the submitters they have referred into the system.

You will be able to turn these credits into money and withdraw them as your commissions OR you can use these credits for doing micropayments and submitting your content (with your backlinks) to the blogs with good PR.

So, even if you don’t have a single cent, but you have at least one blog owner who is getting credits in FTS V2 or at least one content submitter who is buying credits to get publications on PR blogs – then you are automatically plugged to the source of free/affiliate credits for YOU. And you can spend these credits on submitting your own publications without spending any real money on it.

P.S. Questions and Answers
(based on your feedback)

Does it mean I will not be able to submit articles for free any longer?

No, you will be able to do that. We do not close the features that you currently have in FTS; in version 2 we simply add more.

Will all PR blogs require micropayments?

This choice is in the hands of the blog owners. We assume that some of the PR blogs will continue accepting free publications without any cost for it, simply because they “got used” to doing it this way. Still, it’s our prediction that the days of free publications on reputable sites are over. Either you get prepared to these changes right now, or you will have to catch up with the rest of the market when the train is gone.

What about PROs?

As promised in previous blog post – in addition to all features that PROs (monthly plan) and PROs (lifetime) have at the moment, they will also get a possibility to do micropayments at a cheaper price. in FTS V2 we will do everything possible to keep adding more value to our PRO user who support us with money on a regular basis and help to evolve this concept. I am sure that very soon V2 will have other serious advantages (not only special price on micropayments) for all PRO users.

You mentioned something about going PRO right now is a little better?

This question was answered a lot, still it is one of the most frequently asked questions on the support. Yes, indeed, users who are PROs at the moment of official switching to V2 will get access to super special price on the micropayments. That will be a special offer valid for a short time during the switch. (like, for example, when releasing FTS V1 we had super special price of $27/month or $297/lifetime that was valid for 1 month after the release of PRO version and then got inactive)

Can I make money with PR0 blog?

Currently we are thinking about giving such a chance to blogs with PR0 and GOOD traffic. It is not active from the start, but we will add this feature. But be prepared that your traffic will be checked and monitored, we will not allow to cheat the submitters and take all precautions.

What if blog owners put very high prices?

In FTS V2 you will be able to choose the best proposition from different providers. It’s like a marketplace – you will choose what fits you best. And even is some blog owner is too “greedy” at the beginning and puts exorbitant price for publications, don’t worry – very soon he/she will see that no one is paying for the publications on his/her blog. Open market will balance it to the fair and adequate prices. And our job is simply to create this marketplace and give all instruments to our users.

After publishing the first post about FTS version 2, we have done a research of blog comments and questions that we received, and saw that one of the most intriguing, vital and thought-provocative issues about the new version was the question of price.

That is why we decided to make a publication that is devoted solely to the question of price and PRO memberships in Free Traffic System V2.

And the first statement that we want to make absolutely clear is that…

… in FTS V2 we DO NOT limit anything
that you already have in version 1,
we simply ADD MORE to what you already have!

It is an important statement, because from the response that we got in questions and blog comments we saw that we failed to make this issue clear to our users.

In no way version 2 will limit any of the SEO instruments that you are currently using. If you are a FREE user, you will still have a chance to submit content for free and get backlinks from the blogs. If you are a PRO (monthly plan) user – you will have wider publicity to your content, as you have right now. If you are a PRO (lifetime plan) – you will have the same wider publicity that you have right now.

So, in version 2 we will not take away anything that you have right now in your membership.

Our goal is to ADD tons more SEO value to what you already have right now.

Ok, what exactly do you plan to add?

Just a few examples…

(1) For example, you will get a free tool that will speed up the indexing of all your publications. I saw a tool of that kind (but even not with all features that OUR tool will have) being sold for $47. Our tool will come for free for all users of FTS V2.

It will automatically ping, RSS feed and twit all your publications so that they are indexed much faster AND so that your backlinks in these publications are also indexed faster.

This will be great for the submitters of content, because it is indexed faster. And this will be awesome for blog owners, because THEIR blogs get much better indexing. I am sure that some of the blog owners will add their blogs to FTS V2 just for the sake of improving the indexing of their blogs

Moreover, this free indexing tool will have a unique feature of reciprocal indexing, when users of FTS V2 can help each other to index their publications. Kind of a “community spirit” converted into SEO. I will speak in more details about the indexer in one of the upcoming blog posts.

(2) Of course, the blogs with good PR. This is the core issue of all changes that are done in V2.

In addition to what you have in the current version of FTS, we will also give you access to the publications on the blogs with good PR.

Once again, I want to emphasize on the fact that access to PR blogs is given IN ADDITION to what you already have. In no way we want to restrict/kill the features that you already have in the current version of FTS.

FREE users will have what they have right now + MORE to come in V2. PRO monthly users will have what they have now + MORE to come in V2. PRO lifetime users will have what they have now + MORE to come in V2.

So, we are talking about expanding your SEO horizons, without killing what you have right now. Of course, my personal opinion is that the SEO power of V2 will make you laugh at what you have right now in the current version of FTS. Not because v1 features are bad (come on, lots of people got page 1 with our current features). This is simply because version 2 is a real “SEO machine” and the results that we got from the tests with unique blog posts on PR blogs show unbeatable proofs of success.

Special Proposition to PROs
